Airlines renew flight suspensions

Cancelled

With the crisis in West Asia widening, several airlines have extended or renewed the suspension of their services to and from parts of the region.

In recent advisories:

Air India announced continued suspension of select services to destinations in West Asia, citing safety considerations and evolving airspace restrictions.

IndiGo said it is taking “measured and responsible decisions across select international sectors,” adding that developments in Middle Eastern airspace are being closely monitored.

Other carriers operating in the region have also adjusted schedules or temporarily halted operations depending on airspace availability and safety assessments.

The Ministry of Civil Aviation has advised passengers to check with their respective airlines before leaving for the airport, as schedules remain subject to change at short notice.

Authorities reaffirmed that in order to guarantee prompt assistance to passengers during the continuing emergency, the PACR will keep an eye on developments and communicate with airlines, airport operators, and Indian representations overseas.
