Nothing Phone 4(a) Pro, Phone 4(a) with Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display, and 50MP camera launched: Price starts at Rs 31,999

Nothing has launched the Phone (4a) Pro and Phone (4a) in India, with upgraded displays, faster chipsets, and near-identical 50MP triple camera setups on both models. The Pro stands out with a precision metal unibody design, a faster Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, and the Glyph Matrix from the Phone (3), while the vanilla (4a) keeps things lighter with a plastic build and the new Glyph Bar. Both phones come with effective starting prices of Rs 39,999 and Rs 31,999 respectively, and will be available to purchase starting March 13.

Nothing Phone 4(a) Pro specifications and features

The Pro sports a 6. 83-inch 1. 5K 144Hz AMOLED display peaking at 5,000 nits brightness with the slimmest bezels ever on a Nothing phone at 1. 85mm, protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4—promising 27% faster CPU, 30% better graphics, and 65% stronger AI over the predecessor’s chip. It pairs up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM with UFS 3. 1 storage, a significant jump from UFS 2. 2 last time around. A 5,300 mm² vapour chamber handles thermals, and the phone supports BGMI at 120Hz and PUBG at 90Hz.

Camera-wise, the Pro gets a 50MP main shooter with a Sony LYT700c sensor and OIS, a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto with OIS and up to 140x ultra zoom—the longest zoom ever on a Nothing phone—an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 32MP selfie camera.

It supports Ultra XDR photos and 4K Ultra XDR video with HDR effects similar to Dolby Vision.

The Glyph Matrix returns with 137 mini-LEDs covering a 57% larger area than the Phone (3) version, hitting 3,000 nits.

The Indian variant packs a 5,400mAh battery compared to the 5,080mAh global unit, with 50W wired charging that gets to 60% in 30 minutes. No wireless charging here. The phone measures just 7.95mm thick with a full-metal aluminium frame and carries an IP65 rating.

Nothing Phone 4(a) Pro specifications and features

The vanilla (4a) runs the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4—a modest step up from the 7s Gen 3—with LPDDR4X RAM and no vapour chamber. Its 6. 78-inch 1. 5K 120Hz AMOLED display peaks at 4,500 nits. The camera setup is nearly identical to the Pro, swapping in a Samsung GN9 sensor for the main camera instead of the Sony unit, with Ultra XDR limited to 1080p 30fps. The (4a) sticks with a plastic frame at 8. 55mm and is rated IP64. Instead of the Glyph Matrix, it gets a Glyph Bar with 63 mini-LEDs reaching 3,500 nits—40% brighter than the (3a).

It also gets the larger 5,400mAh battery in India, 50W wired charging, and the same software package—Android 16 with Nothing OS 4.1, 3 OS updates, and 6 years of security patches.

Nothing Phone (4a) Pro, Phone (4a) price, availability and offers in India

The Phone (4a) Pro starts at Rs. 39,999 for 8GB+128GB and tops out at Rs. 45,999 for 12GB+256GB, in Black, Silver and Pink. The Phone (4a) starts at Rs. 31,999 for 8GB+128GB, going up to Rs. 37,999 for 12GB+256GB, in Pink, White, Black and Blue. Both phones go on sale starting March 13 via Flipkart, Reliance Digital, Croma, Vijay Sales and other retail stores.

Launch offers include bank discounts of up to Rs. 3,000 on the (4a) and Rs. 4,000 on the Pro, exchange benefits, and no-cost EMI options.
