Harry Styles has finally addressed the long-running speculation about his hair. During a recent appearance on Royal Court, released on February 25, the singer playfully teased the rumours that have followed him for years. The internet has debated everything from hairpieces to transplants.
The hairline joke that says everything
Rumours about Styles’ hair began around 2022 after a blind item described an “A-list musician” who had supposedly gone nearly bald. Fans quickly assumed it referred to him. On Royal Court, host Brittany Broski asked whether his teeth were fake. After confirming they were real, Styles grinned and said, “This hairline, though. ” He stopped there. The moment perfectly captured his playful relationship with public speculation.
“What is it with baldness? … It skips a generation or something, right? If your granddad’s bald, then you’ll be bald? Well, my granddad wasn’t bald, so fingers crossed,” he added.
Regret over his skinny jeans era
Hair was not the only thing on his mind. Styles also reflected on his early fashion choices during his One Direction days. The 2010s were dominated by ultra-tight jeans, and he fully embraced the trend. Now, he looks back with mild horror.
“I wore, like, really, really tight jeans. I know that was kind of of the time, but they were tighter than my legs were. It was like, wear a size — or three sizes — bigger.”
The comment revealed a relatable side of the global star. Even fashion icons have regrets.
New album and residency tour ahead
Fans will soon see much more of Styles on stage. His new album, Kiss All the Time… Disco Occasionally, arrives on March 6, 2026. In May, he will launch the Together, Together residency tour, his first major run since ending Love on Tour in 2023. The residency includes 50 shows across seven major cities, from London and New York to Melbourne and Sydney.
