India’s First All-in-One Tesla Centre Opens in Gurugram
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini inaugurated India’s first comprehensive Tesla Motors facility in Gurugram on Thursday. This integrated centre combines retail, after-sales service, delivery, and charging infrastructure under one roof at Sector 48’s Orchid Business Park.

The new Gurugram facility marks a significant upgrade from Tesla’s earlier display centres at Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai and Aerocity in Delhi. Unlike those locations, this centre will provide complete automotive services including sales, maintenance, vehicle delivery, and charging infrastructure.
Haryana’s Industrial Vision
Chief Minister Saini highlighted Haryana’s progressive industrial policies during the inauguration. “We are consistently working to reduce the cost of doing business for industries in the state,” he stated. The government has introduced a special leasing policy for industrial plots and is strengthening local supply chains through collaboration with established industries.
Ease of Doing Business Initiatives
Haryana has emerged as a leader in the ‘Top Achievers’ category of Ease of Doing Business rankings. The state has established a Department of Foreign Cooperation to facilitate global investments and amended outdated laws to reduce red tape. The Public Trust Ordinance, 2025, notified on October 11, decriminalised 164 provisions across 42 state acts.
Economic Growth and Employment
Over the last 11 years, Haryana has seen remarkable industrial growth with 12,20,872 micro, small, and medium enterprises established, employing 49.15 lakh people. The state aims to significantly increase its contribution to the national economy with a $1 trillion target by 2047.
Tech and Startup Ecosystem
Haryana has emerged as India’s seventh-largest state for startups with over 9,100 recognised startups. The state is establishing AI hubs in Gurugram and Panchkula to promote AI-based startups and research. A Department of the Future has been created to focus on AI, robotics, biotechnology, and deep-tech, while a separate MSME department supports small enterprises through online entrepreneurial memorandum filings.
