Ambanis host Arjun Tendulkar, Saaniya Chandhok and family in Jamnagar before wedding

In a heartfelt pre-wedding celebration, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, along with their family, hosted the Tendulkars at their sprawling Jamnagar residence. The gathering was intimate, rooted in tradition, and filled with warmth — a coming together of close friends and families ahead of a big new chapter.

Earlier this month, the Tendulkars and the Ambanis were spotted at the airport heading to Gujarat’s Jamnagar. At the time, the reason for the trip wasn’t clear. Now, a video shared on the Mumbai Indians’ official social media handles has revealed why the families had flown down: to come together and bless the soon-to-be-married couple, Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandhok.

One particularly emotional moment features Sachin Tendulkar speaking about his son. “Jab beta koi ladki ko ghar leke aata hai, introduce karne ke liye, then you know ke beta bada ho gaya hai (When a son brings a girl home to introduce her, then you know that the son has grown up),” he said, reflecting on how that moment makes a parent realise their child has truly grown up.

Nita Ambani, who has known Arjun since childhood, also addressed the couple warmly. She spoke about watching him grow up and praised Saaniya’s positive energy, welcoming her into the extended circle with visible affection.

Guests were seen participating in traditional puja rituals and offering prayers to Lord Ganesha — a customary beginning for many Hindu weddings.

And of course, no Ambani celebration is complete without a fashion moment. Nita Ambani raised the bar yet again in a gold and purple saree paired with a contrasting red blouse and statement jewellery.

On the special day, Arjun and Saaniya complemented the mood in elegant traditional outfits, keeping the focus on classic silhouettes and understated charm.

Arjun and Saaniya got engaged in August 2025. Their wedding is scheduled for March 5, with pre-wedding festivities set to begin on March 3.
