Times Prime has announced a strategic partnership with Crunchyroll in a bid to expand anime in the country, the lifestyle membership platform said in statement.
The collaboration is aimed at addressing “the surging popularity of anime in India, where the medium has evolved from a niche interest into mainstream entertainment.”
It informed that that Times Prime members who choose an annual subscription to Crunchyroll will be offered a special “two-month free trial” period.

Partnering with Crunchyroll allows us to meet the growing demand for anime among our members while enhancing the breadth and depth of our entertainment offerings,” Harshita Singh, business head, Times Prime said.
