The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has decided to blacklist Aditya Dhar’s B62 Productions over repeated on-set violations. The development came after the makers were reportedly found flouting several rules during the shoot of Dhurandhar: The Revenge in Mumbai recently.
As reported by India Today, the BMC initially received a complaint from a local resident about the use of fire torches during the shoot. According to the civic body, the team of Dhurandhar: The Revenge was “verbally warned on site” against using fire torches until the completion of the shoot. The police later seized five fire torches from the location.
Following the incident, BMC’s A-ward maintenance staff prepared and submitted a proposal note to the Deputy Municipal Commissioner (Zone 1) on Saturday, recommending:
- Forfeiture of the Rs 25,000 security deposit held on the online permission platform.
- Blacklist of applicants Komal Pokhariyal and Nasir Khan, who had signed an undertaking not to use fire during the shoot, along with B62 Productions in connection with the applicants.
- A Rs 1 lakh penalty for violation of the undertaking.
The note further stated that the “production house will be blacklisted from applying on the online facility of Maharashtra Film City, and Rs 1 lakh will be levied for the violation.”
Dhar’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge is being prepared for a grand release on March 19. The film is a sequel to his blockbuster Dhurandhar, which was released on December 5, 2025, to a massive box-office response.
The film is directed by Aditya Dhar and features Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Danish Pandor, and Sara Arjun, among others, in key roles.
