Vivo X300 Series India Launch: Dimensity 9500, ZEISS Cameras on Dec 2

Vivo has officially announced the India launch of its flagship X300 and X300 Pro smartphones on December 2. Powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, these will be the first Vivo phones in India to run the company’s OriginOS 6 interface.

Confirmed Details: Colors and Camera Partnership

Vivo has revealed the color options for both models. The X300 Pro will be available in Dune Brown and Phantom Black, while the standard X300 comes in Phantom Black, Mist Blue, and an India-exclusive Summit Red.

The company has confirmed its continued partnership with ZEISS for camera tuning. The X300 Pro will feature a 200MP APO Telephoto lens, while the X300 gets a 200MP primary shooter.

Both phones will also receive a dedicated photography kit, similar to what Oppo previously offered with its X9 series.

Display and Durability

The X300 features a 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with 4,500 nits peak brightness, Armour Glass protection, and 2160Hz PWM dimming for reduced eye strain.

The X300 Pro sports a larger 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED panel with the same 4,500 nits brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. Both devices carry IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, capable of surviving submersion in 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes.

Performance and Storage

Both phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor paired with an Arm Mali G1 Ultra MC12 GPU. The X300 supports up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

Expected Pricing in India

In China, the Vivo X300 starts at 4,399 yuan (approximately ₹55,000) and goes up to 5,799 yuan (around ₹72,000). The X300 Pro begins at 5,299 yuan (approximately ₹66,000) and reaches 6,699 yuan (around ₹83,475) for the top variant.

Note that these are Chinese prices, and Indian pricing is expected to be higher when the phones launch on December 2.
