Oracle India Drives Enterprise Cloud Growth with Embedded AI Strategy

Oracle India: Embedded AI Driving Next-Gen Enterprise Cloud Growth

Oracle’s embedded AI strategy is fueling significant enterprise cloud adoption across India, with the company reporting over 60% growth in Fusion Cloud Applications during Q1 FY26. Financial services and healthcare sectors are leading this transformation, demonstrating how AI-powered cloud solutions are reshaping business operations.

Key Takeaways

  • Indian AI market projected to reach $17 billion by 2027
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications grew over 60% in Q1 FY26
  • BFSI and healthcare sectors showing 37% and 64% YoY growth respectively
  • Embedded AI agents now available across ERP, SCM, HCM, and CX platforms

Oracle’s AI Roadmap: Agility, Trust, and Scale

Shailesh Singla, Vice President of Cloud Applications at Oracle, outlines the company’s three-pillar approach to AI implementation. “Oracle is shaping its AI roadmap with three core pillars: agility, trust, and scale to empower enterprises with a unified, secure, and high-performing cloud foundation,” he explains.

With AI embedded directly into Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, organizations can unlock automation, predictive insights, and intelligent decision-making across every business function. The architecture ensures seamless integration and uncompromised data security while bringing AI directly into business workflows.

Sector-Wide Adoption Momentum

The transformation is particularly visible in specific sectors. Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications India remains a top contributor to Oracle JAPAC, with financial services and hi-tech/ITES sectors growing over 100% in SaaS during Q1 FY25.

Within BFSI, NBFCs have emerged as a major growth driver, with Oracle adding one to two new NBFC customers every month. Major healthcare providers including Apollo Hospitals, Fortis Hospitals, and Aster DM Healthcare are leveraging Oracle solutions to improve operational efficiency and patient experience.

Digital-first enterprises like PhonePe, BigBasket, Flipkart, and Lenskart are using Oracle cloud solutions to enhance scalability and customer engagement, demonstrating the platform’s versatility across traditional and new-age businesses.

Growth Trajectory and Market Expansion

Oracle’s applications business in India continues as a strategic growth engine within JAPAC, driven by customer demand for modernization and intelligent automation. Oracle Fusion Cloud Customer Experience (CX) emerged as the biggest growth catalyst, supported by significant wins including the Department of Income Tax and RBL Bank.

The adoption wave has expanded beyond core sectors to include hospitality, logistics, and consumer industries. Companies like The Indian Hotels Company, Kavery Hospitals, and Care Hospitals are implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and CX platforms to enhance scalability, efficiency, and performance.

Embedded AI Agents Redefining Business Processes

Oracle’s recent introduction of embedded AI agents within its cloud applications portfolio represents a significant innovation. These AI agents across enterprise resource planning, supply chain management, human capital management, and customer experience enable organizations to automate routine tasks and surface contextual insights.

Built using Oracle’s AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications, these prebuilt and secure agents run natively on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and are available at no additional cost. Recent expansions include new agents for supply chain and manufacturing that optimize planning, procurement, and logistics.

“Together, these embedded AI agents are redefining enterprise operations, helping businesses accelerate execution, enhance accuracy, and achieve measurable outcomes across every function,” the company states.
