Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge is making waves at the box office, currently standing as the third highest-grossing Indian film of all time globally. The film is now setting its sights on surpassing Baahubali 2: The Conclusion to become the second top Indian film worldwide, needing just Rs 46.45 crore more to break the nine-year-old record established in 2017.
In its fifth week at the box office, Dhurandhar 2 has amassed Rs 1,764.15 crore worldwide, with Rs 1,341.90 crore of that coming from India alone. The film, headlined by Ranveer Singh, has also achieved an overseas gross of Rs 422.25 crore by its fifth Wednesday.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge has achieved this remarkable feat without a release in China and the Gulf markets, setting a rare benchmark for Indian cinema. Although the film’s run is nearing its end, it continues to maintain its momentum. Should it manage to surpass Baahubali 2, it would break a significant nine-year record.
The film is a creation of Aditya Dhar, who has taken on the roles of writer, director, and producer. The cast includes Rakesh Bedi, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Danish Pandor, and Sara Arjun, among others. Dhurandhar: The Revenge was released in cinemas on March 19.
