Vivo Y600 Pro confirmed officially, it is coming with 10000mAh battery

Last year, Vivo launched the Vivo Y500 Pro in China with a 200-megapixel camera. Now, the company is preparing to introduce its successor, the Vivo Y600 Pro. Vivo has officially teased the device online, revealing key specifications and design details. This time, the smartphone is expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera—a notable downgrade from its predecessor. However, it makes up for it with a massive 10,000mAh battery, marking a significant upgrade over the 7,000mAh unit on the previous model.

Vivo Y600 Pro design, specs and features

Vivo has teased the back panel of the smartphone. It has a circular camera module similar to its predecessor. However, the old model houses four camera cutouts, containing two dummy cameras. The upcoming smartphone, on the other hand, houses two camera cutouts, containing a 50-megapixel camera, while the specifications of the other sensor remain unknown. An LED flash placed outside the camera module sticks towards the right corner.

The Vivo Y600 Pro is expected to feature a 6.67-inch display with a 1.5K resolution and could refresh at up to 120 times a second. It is likely to be supported by a 90W fast charging. Under the hood, the new smartphone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400chipset, similar to its predecessor.

The company still kept the launch date of the Vivo Y600 Pro under wraps. However, rumours suggest that it could be this May in China. It is likely to target the mid-range segment with a price slightly higher than its predecessor, which starts at CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs 24,499).The price increase may be attributed to the ongoing global shortage of memory and chipsets. As the exact price and launch are yet to be announced by the company, you can take this information with a pinch of salt.

For context, the Vivo Y500 Pro features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, along with up to 1600 nits peak brightness. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset. For photography, the device packs a 200-megapixel primary rear camera with OIS, paired with a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. Backing the device is a large 7,000mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging, ensuring long-lasting usage.
