Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who also co-created Wonder Man and directed Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the makers showcased two new posters at CinemaCon

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sony head Tom Rothman described the movie as unlike previous Spider-Man stories and praised Holland’s performance as his best yet. Holland reportedly appeared virtually, calling it “the most emotional Spider-Man movie we’ve ever made, and in some ways, the most grown-up.”
What to expect
As per the report, the clip shown depicted Peter Parker in a world where his closest friends no longer recognise him after the events of No Way Home. In the scene, Peter is at a bodega when Ned, played by Jacob Batalon, arrives but does not recognise him. Peter follows Ned to a house party hosted by Ned and Michelle MJ Jones-Watson, played by Zendaya.
At the party, Peter discovers Ned has created a “Spider-Tracker” to monitor Spider-Man’s movements. Ned believes Spider-Man’s identity belongs to two others, neither being Peter. MJ enters, and Peter nervously introduces himself as “Maynard” while handing her flowers.
MJ shares she declined a job at a “soulless corporation” and plans to wait for a better opportunity. She mentions dating someone new, and as she leans in for a kiss, Peter leaves, visibly upset.
