Why Adin Ross plans legal action against TMZ after sister Madeline Ross death report leaves him shocked during emotional livestream

Adin Ross is speaking out after a painful personal moment became public news. The popular Kick streamer recently said he plans to take legal action against TMZ and others after reports about his sister’s death were published online. On March 3, 2026, TMZ reported that Adin Ross’ sister, Madeline Ross, had died earlier in the year. According to the Broward County Medical Examiner, Madeline Ross passed away on January 15, 2026, at the age of 36.

A few days later, during a livestream on March 8, 2026, Adin Ross spoke directly to his viewers about the situation. The Florida native said the news was meant to stay private for some time. However, he believes someone from his own circle shared the information with TMZ. Because of that, he says he now plans to sue several people and organizations involved.

Adin Ross says someone from his circle leaked information about sister Madeline Ross and claims he plans to sue TMZ and others

During his March 8 livestream, Adin Ross told viewers he never planned to speak publicly about his sister’s death so soon. He explained that only a small group of close people knew about the situation.

According to him, the story appearing online came as a shock. Ross said he believes someone close to him shared the information with TMZ in exchange for money.

He told viewers during the stream:

“I didn’t really want to tell anyone. As you could see, it was a private thing. And horrible, horrible that somebody that’s in my circle got paid by TMZ to release that. I don’t know who it was yet, but I’m going to find out, and I’m suing TMZ. I’m suing the county. I’m suing a lot of people.”

Ross also added that he understands the news might have come out eventually. Still, he said he wanted the timing to be different.

“Obviously, the close people knew. But, yeah, bro, somebody literally got paid by TMZ to release that story, which is insane. You know, it’s absolutely f***ing insane, and I will find out who did it, and it’s okay. Look, I knew, eventually, it had to come out. I just wanted to make sure it came out at the right time.”

Later in the stream, Ross became emotional while talking about his sister. He described Madeline Ross as someone who supported him from the beginning of his career.

“She was my best friend. She was such an amazing person. She believed in me from the jump. She was amazing. And she loved you guys as well.”

Ross also admitted the loss affected his life in a big way. He said he struggled emotionally after her death and made some unhealthy choices during that time.

“It f***ed me up. I took bad choices when that happened. I gained weight. I did other unhealthy stuff. And honestly, it was a lot. She was my best friend.”

He ended the message by thanking fans for sending support and kind messages during the difficult period.
