A confident Hardik Pandya declared after India’s T20 World Cup 2026 win that he wanted to win 10 more trophies in his career. Hardik said that he had already won three ICC trophies so far and, in the next 10 years of his career, he wanted to win 10 more, with ICC and the Indian Premier League combined.
The Indian all-rounder, who was a key figure in India’s 2024 and 2026 title-winning campaigns, said that since Maheika Sharma (partner) came into his life, he has been winning everything.
“This is the victory I have always lived for. This is why I have played cricket. I want to win trophies. I want to win as many trophies as I can. In 2024, I had said that whatever trophies I play for, I will win. And I believe that. This trophy is a validation of that,” Hardik Pandya told the broadcaster on Sunday, March 8.
“There is a lot of hard work. There is not only talk, but there is a lot of hard work. Work hard, stay silent, be a good person. Since Maheika has come into my life, I have only been winning,” he added.
Hardik Pandya: I Want 10 More Trophies
Hardik said that he had only played the first half of his career and that he had 10 more years of international cricket left. Pandya sounded confident that he would win five or six more trophies in the next phase of his career and thanked God for being kind to him.
“It sounds very good that I am a senior player now. But I have 10 more years of cricket in me. I have played only half of my career so far, half is left. I would want to win 10 more trophies in total, ICC and IPL included. But ICC trophies are the most important for me. I would want to win anything that I play. In the next 10 years, I would definitely win five or six more,” Hardik said.
“Losing was never in my mind. I would like to thank God,” concluded the all-rounder.
Hardik played a few crucial innings with the bat and bowled some terrific spells with the ball in this World Cup campaign. Hardik hit two fifties – against Namibia and Zimbabwe – and picked up wickets in the virtual quarter-final, semi-final and the final of the tournament.
Hardik concluded the interview with a message to the country, stating that if people put in the work, stay quiet and be a good person, they could manifest their dreams.
The Indian team will now celebrate for a couple of days and then depart on their individual ways to link up with their IPL teams.
The Indian Premier League begins on March 28; however, the schedule has not been announced yet.
