A.J. Brown trade rumors: Eagles reportedly set massive price for star WR

Trade speculation around A. J. Brown continues to grow as the offseason unfolds, but acquiring the star wide receiver may prove extremely difficult. According to multiple reports, the Philadelphia Eagles have placed a massive asking price on the three-time Pro Bowler, signaling they are not eager to move on from one of their most dynamic offensive weapons.

Brown, who will enter his age-29 season, remains a key figure in Philadelphia’s offense despite ongoing rumors surrounding his future with the team. While the Eagles are reportedly open to listening to offers, general manager Howie Roseman has made it clear that the organization will not give away the star wide receiver without significant compensation.

Interest from several AFC teams has already emerged, but the Eagles’ steep demands could complicate any potential deal.

Despite the high asking price, several teams with major needs at wide receiver could attempt to pursue Brown.

The New England Patriots are widely viewed as one of the most logical destinations. New England’s offense lacks a true No. 1 receiver, and adding Brown would instantly give young quarterback Drake Maye a proven playmaker. Brown also has familiarity with Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel from their time together with the Tennessee Titans.

The Buffalo Bills are another team that could sign him. Last season, Buffalo’s wide receivers weren’t very consistent, thus quarterback Josh Allen didn’t have a reliable top target. Brown may quickly become the Bills’ top receiver and greatly improve their passing game.

The Las Vegas Raiders could also emerge as a candidate. Las Vegas currently lacks an established top receiver, and adding Brown would give the offense a centerpiece as the franchise continues building around its future quarterback.

For now, Brown remains an Eagle. But as trade discussions continue across the league, Philadelphia’s massive asking price ensures that any potential move would require a blockbuster offer.
