Trump’s ‘Secretary of Everything’ spins tracks at wedding. Watch

When the music dropped at a family wedding, guests expected the usual DJ — not a US cabinet member stepping in to take control of the decks. But that is exactly what unfolded, as US Secretary of State Marco Rubio turned a celebration into a viral moment.

A video shared by White House Deputy Chief of Staff, Dan Scavino, on X captured Marco Rubio at the event, wearing headphones and working alongside another DJ.

“MOMENTS AGO, BEHIND THE SCENES—Our Great Secretary of State @MarcoRubio DJ’s weddings too! Here he is in action tonight at a family wedding Let’s goooooo!!!” Scavino wrote while posting the footage.

RUBIO STEPS BEHIND THE DJ BOOTH

The visuals show Rubio leaning over a laptop, one side of his headphones pressed to his ear as he concentrates on the track. Every so often, he glances at the DJ next to him and gives a quick signal, as guests drift towards the dance floor. The room grows louder, the circle of dancers tightens, and the music pulls everyone in. Rubio, usually seen in formal settings, eases into the moment — briefly raising his fist to the beat as the crowd responds to the high energy atmosphere.

The Florida politician already carries a reputation for juggling multiple responsibilities within the administration. Alongside his role as Secretary of State, he has also served as national security adviser and overseen archival duties, earning him the informal tag of the “Secretary of Everything”. His dual role mirrors a rare precedent set by Henry Kissinger during the Richard Nixon era.

The Florida politician has already emerged as one of the most remarkable figures in Washington. He isn’t just handling America’s diplomacy—he’s juggling multiple critical roles, including acting National Security Adviser and even stepping in as acting Archivist. Colleagues have affectionately dubbed him the “Secretary of Everything.”

INTERNET REACTS TO RUBIO’S DJ CAMEO

The clip triggered a wave of reactions online. Some users appeared impressed by his unexpected skillset, while others questioned the optics of the moment.

“Marco can do it all!” one user wrote.

Another added: “Didn’t expect a DJ set cameo, but here we are. Wedding guests got a surprise performance for sure.”

Curiosity and humour also dominated the discussion, with comments like: “Can I invite him to our wedding?” and “Rubio spinning tracks? Man’s got range.”

At the same time, not everyone was convinced. One user mocked: “Glad you’re dancing. I’m paying $5 gas,” pointing to the Middle East conflict.

The identity of the wedding hosts remains unclear, but the footage has ensured the event itself will not be forgotten anytime soon.
