Oppo F33 series key features revealed ahead of April 15 debut

Oppo is set to launch the F33 series in India on April 15. The company has already started teasing the lineup online. The lineup is likely to include two smartphones – the Oppo F33 Pro and the Oppo F33. The company has already confirmed that the upcoming phones will have support for the top-tier IP69K rating for protection against water and dust. The series even has military-grade durability. Today, Oppo has disclosed more details about the devices.

The brand has confirmed that the Oppo F33 series will feature a 4,289mm vapour chamber cooling system, which is designed to manage heat during intensive tasks. The company claims the devices are backed by SGS High-Temperature Fluency Certification, ensuring stable performance even in ambient temperatures of up to 45 degrees celsius. The series will also include a Dual-Engine Smoothness System, comprising the Trinity Engine and Luminous Rendering Engine. Additionally, it is said to offer up to 72 months of fluency protection for sustained long-term usage.

To reduce the risk of personal data loss due to theft or damage, Oppo has equipped the F33 series with its O-Lock feature. This allows users to remotely lock their device through verified customer support in case it is lost or stolen. The smartphones are also designed to prevent unauthorised access and data extraction. All this sounds interesting, but only time will reveal if that is the case in the real time.

The Oppo F33 series includes a set of AI features focused on everyday usability. These include AI Writing and Reading tools for basic productivity, AI Ultra-Clear Documents for improving scanned files, and AI Recording with noise reduction. On the imaging side, features like AI Eraser, Reflection Remover, and AI Unblur aim to clean up and enhance photos.

OPPO F33 series specs and features (leaked/expected)

The F33 series will be backed by a 7,000mAh battery, paired with support for 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. Oppo claims that the battery is designed for long-term durability, retaining up to 80 percent of its original capacity even after 1,830 charge cycles, which translates to roughly five years of regular use.

For photography, the company earlier teased that the Oppo F33 Pro will sport a 50-megapixel main camera. For selfies, the smartphone will carry a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera.

The Oppo F33 Pro is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max chipset. While the company has not officially revealed pricing details yet, rumours suggest it could be priced around Rs 35,000. The series is also likely to be offered in three colour options – Misty Forest, Starry Blue, and Passion Red.
