Wireline Segment Shows Steady Growth

Wireline connections increased from 46.61 million to 46.75 million, recording a 0.30% monthly growth rate. The overall wireline tele-density improved slightly from 3.287% to 3.294%.

Urban areas maintained significantly higher wireline penetration at 8.16% compared to rural areas at 0.55%. Public sector units including BSNL, MTNL, and APSFL collectively held 20.22% of the wireline market share.

The data indicates continued momentum in India’s digital infrastructure development, with broadband services reaching nearly every corner of the nation.
