Kriti Sanon storms London Fashion Week in Burberry leather, sits front row with Kate Moss

Indian actresses are no longer holding back in fashion; they are cementing their place on the global fashion scene. From Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt to Kriti Sanon, who has just joined the lineup, making her presence felt at Burberry’s Fall/Winter 2026-2027 showcase at London Fashion Week.

Securing a coveted front-row seat alongside big international names like Kate Moss, Olivia Deak, and Simone Ashley, her attendance surely didn’t go unnoticed. She created a bold reinterpretation of Burberry’s iconic trench, adding a hint of British heritage with a contemporary twist.

Kriti wore a mocha brown trench-inspired leather dress featuring panelled leather, giving it a sculptural yet modish feel. This statement piece featured padded shoulders, sharp lapels, a double-breasted front, and a fitted bodycon design that softly hugged her frame.

Additional elements included a matching leather belt that further defined her waist, belted cuffs, intricate embroidery detailing, and a below-the-knee hemline that added a sophisticated edge to this high-fashion couture dress. A striking, contrasting teal silk scarf was neatly wrapped around her neckline. Tassel detailing around the hemline softened the overall dark intensity of the leather fit and amplified the whole frame instantly.

Her thoughtful styling complemented the look and did not for a second overpower it, where she simply wore a pair of golden hoop earrings, a deep brown top-handle mini bag from the label, and added a sleek pair of calf-length leather boots that gave a very ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ vibe.

On the beauty front, she kept things bold and impactful. Styling her hair in a textured top knot with loose strands to the front, which neatly framed her face, she also flaunted her soft blonde highlights, which gave a refined touch.

For her makeup, Kriti went with muted smoky eyes, defined eyebrows, mascara-enhanced eyelashes, dark kohl strokes, subtle contouring, and a luminous highlighter against a dewy foundation base. Adding freshness to this dark and dramatic fit check, she wore a glossy mauve-pink lipstick and indeed stole the show.

Where neutral shades dominated the guestlist, and the label showcased red and blue hues to pay tribute to its British heritage, Kriti’s ensemble carried something of both. She understood the stakes of being in the front row and commanded attention with her fashion influence, which goes beyond the show business and inside the towers of global style.
