UPSC IFS Mains result 2025 released at upsc.gov.in: Direct link to download, more details here

The Union Public Service Commission has declared the result of the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Main Examination 2025. Candidates who appeared for the written examination can now check their roll numbers on the official website, upsc. gov. in. The result has been released in PDF format and includes the list of candidates shortlisted for the Personality Test or interview round. The IFS Main examination was held in November 2025 across various centres.

Candidates who have qualified in the written stage will now move to the final stage of the selection process. The commission will soon release the detailed schedule for the Personality Test. Shortlisted candidates are advised to keep checking the official website for updates and further instructions.

The commission has uploaded the written result PDF on its official portal. Candidates need to visit upsc.gov.in and click on the link for the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination 2025 result under the “What’s New” section. The PDF contains roll numbers of candidates who have qualified for the interview stage.

To check the result, candidates must download the PDF and search for their roll number using the search option. The commission has clarified that marks will be uploaded after the entire selection process is completed.

Candidates should keep a copy of the result for future reference.

Personality Test schedule to be announced soon

Candidates who have cleared the written examination will appear for the Personality Test conducted by the commission. The interview will be held in New Delhi at the UPSC office. The exact dates and reporting schedule will be released separately on the official website.

The Personality Test is the final stage of the IFS recruitment process. Candidates are advised to prepare all required documents in advance. The e-summon letters for the interview will be made available online. No request for change in interview date will normally be accepted.

Important instructions for shortlisted candidates

Shortlisted candidates may be required to update their Detailed Application Form within the given deadline. They must ensure that all educational and category details are correctly filled.

At the time of the interview, candidates must carry original certificates related to age, qualification, category, and other claims. Failure to produce documents may lead to cancellation of candidature.
