The candidates should possess a graduate degree from a recognized university or institute approved by UGC, AICTE, or any government-recognized authority.
Regarding age, the candidates should be between 20 to 28 years as of January 1, 2026. However, relaxation in age will be provided as per government rules. A five-year relaxation in age is available for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates. A three-year relaxation in age is available for Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates. A 10-year relaxation in age is available for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities.
