ED Attaches Fresh ₹1,400 Crore Assets in Anil Ambani Reliance Group Case
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has provisionally attached fresh assets worth over ₹1,400 crore in its ongoing money laundering investigation against Reliance Group chairman Anil Ambani and his companies. This latest action brings the total value of attached properties in this case to approximately ₹9,000 crore.
Key Details of the Latest Attachment
The federal investigative agency issued the new provisional attachment order under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). Official sources confirmed the attached assets are located in various parts of the country.
The ED had previously attached properties worth ₹7,500 crore in the same case. With this latest attachment of over ₹1,400 crore, the cumulative value now stands at around ₹9,000 crore.
A response from the Reliance Group is currently awaited regarding these developments.
