Raoul Hyman Powers Goa Aces to Victory as IRL Hits 25 Race-Day Milestone in Coimbatore

The third leg of the Indian Racing Festival, backed by JK Tyre, Nayara Energy, and Mobil1, reached a dramatic finish at Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore. Despite the blazing heat, racers battled through the demanding conditions, pushing their machines to the limit before an electrified audience of motorsport fans. The weekend brought together heart-stopping moments from the Indian Racing League, the FIA Formula 4 Indian Championship, and the JK Tyre National Racing Championship (Formula LGB4) — all combining to showcase the raw intensity and spectacle that define this season of the IRF.

Indian Racing League: Hyman Takes Command for Goa Aces JA Racing

In the Driver B race, anticipation was sky-high as local and international talent went wheel-to-wheel.

Speed Demons Delhi’s team owner Arjun Kapoor was spotted cheering from the pits as Raoul Hyman of Goa Aces JA Racing turned in a masterclass of precision and pace. The Brit clocked 26:46. 480, earning his second win of the season. Guiding his car through the 16 technical corners with calm authority, the 29-year-old fended off Shahan Ali Mohsin of Speed Demons Delhi, who crossed the line six seconds behind. Ruhaan Alva of Kichcha’s Kings Bengaluru followed in third after a strong climb from fourth on the grid.

Formula 4 Indian Championship: Chandaria, Sato, and Madesh Share the Spotlight

The Formula 4 Indian Championship, certified by the FIA, brought fierce battles and unexpected twists on Day 2. Shane Chandaria of Chennai Turbo Riders opened the day in dominant fashion, taking a lights-to-flag win in Race 2, marking his second triumph of the season.

He was followed by Luviwe Sambudla (Goa Aces JA Racing) and Itsuki Sato (Ahmedabad Apex Racers).

In Race 3, Japanese driver Sato retaliated brilliantly, snatching victory after Chandaria and Sachel Rotge (Kichcha’s Kings Bengaluru) collided on the final lap. Sambudla once again secured second, with Ishaan Madesh (Kolkata Royal Tigers) completing the podium. Race 4 saw Madesh produce a stellar performance, charging from P4 to claim his second win of the season.

He overtook Saishiva Sankaran (Speed Demons Delhi) and Chandaria in style, wrapping up a weekend full of breathtaking battles and pure racing drama.

JK Tyre FMSCI National Racing Championship (Formula LGB4): Goswami and Agarwal Share Honors

In Round 2 of the 28th JK Tyre FMSCI National Racing Championship, the Formula LGB4 grid delivered edge-of-the-seat competition.

Dhruvh Goswami from MSport, hailing from Bengaluru, claimed his maiden win of the weekend in Race 3 after two consistent runner-up finishes on Day 1. Starting from pole, he fended off relentless pressure from Diljith T S of Dark Don Racing, who shadowed him closely until lap nine. Mehul Agarwal, also from Dark Don Racing, rounded off the podium after strong back-to-back performances.

In Race 4, it was Agarwal’s turn to shine, storming from eighth on the reverse grid to seize his third win and fourth podium of the weekend.

Diljith finished second once again, while Goswami held firm for third, capping off a thrilling sequence of LGB4 races.
