Nissan Gravite: Design

The model is built on the CMF-A+ platform, which also underpins the Renault Triber. As a result, the Gravite shares its overall proportions with its sibling but carries a distinct Nissan identity.

As for the design, the front features a redesigned grille with a horizontal pattern, sleek headlamps with integrated DRLs and “Gravite” lettering on the bonnet.

Besides, it gets a refreshed bumper with silver accents, and a faux skid plate. The side profile gets newly designed 15-inch alloy wheels and roof rails, while the rear sports sharp taillamps connected by a chrome strip, along with silver bumper accents and Gravite badging.

Under the hood, the Gravite employs a 1.0-litre NA three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 72 PS and 96 Nm of torque.

It is available with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed EZ-Shift AMT. Nissan claims a fuel efficiency of 19. 3 kmpl for the manual version and 19. 6 kmpl for the EZ-Shift variant. A CNG dual-cylinder kit is also set to be introduced soon.

The Gravite is offered in eight variants across two gearbox options. The line-up includes Visia, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna and a Limited Launch Edition. The Limited Launch Edition brings added styling touches.

Nissan Gravite: Cabin and features

Inside, the cabin gets a dual-tone black and white theme with suede elements and unique stitching details. The MPV gets a flexible seven-seat layout. Key features include an 8.0-inch infotainment system, a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, JBL speakers, ambient lighting, an air purifier, wireless charging, auto headlamps and rain-sensing wipers.

Besides, the car also offers neck and lumbar support, a dual HVAC system with eight AC vents and dedicated third-row air vents.

It also has more than 31 litres of storage space spread across the cabin, including upper and lower gloveboxes, seat pockets, door storage and cupholders.

On the safety front, the Gravite comes equipped with six airbags as standard, along with TPMS, electronic stability control, traction control, brake assist, ABS and hill start assist.
