Mahindra clocks 97,177 total vehicle sales in February 2026, SUVs grow 19%

Mahindra and Mahindra reported total auto sales of 97,177 vehicles in February 2026, registering an 18% year-on-year growth, including exports. The company’s performance was driven by sustained demand in its SUV portfolio and steady growth across commercial segments.

SUVs power growth with 60,018 domestic units

In the Utility Vehicles (UV) segment, Mahindra sold 60,018 units in the domestic market, marking a 19% increase over the same month last year. Including exports, total UV sales stood at 60,685 units for February.

Year-to-date (YTD) domestic UV sales reached 6,00,004 units, compared to 5,03,439 units in the corresponding period last year, reflecting a 19% growth.

Notably, the UV sales figures include volumes from Mahindra’s subsidiary, Mahindra Electric Automobile Limited.

Passenger vehicle sales stood at 60,018 units in February, up 19% year-on-year, while YTD passenger vehicle sales mirrored UV numbers at 600,004 units, also up 19%.

Commercial Vehicles maintain momentum

Domestic sales in the Commercial Vehicle (CV) segment stood at 24,585 units, reflecting a 10% year-on-year growth.

Break-up of domestic CV and 3-wheeler sales for February 2026:

  • LCV
  • YTD: 34,594 units (down 2%)
  • LCV 2T–3.5T: 21,416 units (up 12% YoY)
  • YTD: 230,075 units (up 16%)
  • 3-Wheelers (including electric 3Ws): 9,190 units (up 44% YoY)
  • YTD: 101,202 units (up 30%)

The 3-wheeler sales figures include volumes from subsidiary Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited. The LCV 2T–3.5T category includes models such as the Bolero Maxx PUP HD 1.9 and HD 2.0.

Exports rise 11% in February

Mahindra’s total exports for February 2026 stood at 3,384 units, an 11% growth compared to 3,059 units in February last year.

On a year-to-date basis, exports grew 21% to 37,022 units, up from 30,511 units in the corresponding period of FY25.
