Benchmark stock market indices opened higher for second straight session on Thursday, driven by early gains in IT and PSU banking stocks. Dalal Street also opened on a positive note, tracking global markets.
The S&P BSE Sensex was up 53.27 points to 82,329.34, while the NSE Nifty50 gained 33.90 points to 25,516.40 as of 9:35 am.
