Unpredictable weather has quietly become one of the biggest stressors on our skin, and it is something I find myself thinking about more and more, both as a founder and simply as someone living in India. Across the world, seasons no longer behave the way we grew up expecting them to. Temperatures rise without warning, humidity swings through the day, and pollution seems to hang in the air far longer than it should. In India, this feels especially intense. On any given day, our skin can move from harsh UV exposure to sweat-heavy humidity, sudden rain and high pollution levels. Today, we travel more than ever. It is a lot for skin to deal with, and over time, it really shows.
For years, we built our skincare routines around predictability. A richer cream in winter, something lighter in summer, perhaps an extra cleanser during monsoon. That rhythm has all but disappeared. Skin today is expected to adapt constantly, often without enough time to recover in between. What I am seeing more often now is sensitivity, dehydration, uneven skin tone and early signs of ageing, even in people in their twenties and thirties.
Dermatologists regularly point to a compromised skin barrier as the common thread behind many of these concerns, driven by constant environmental shifts.

In India, this challenge is layered with our own genetic skin tendencies. Indian skin is naturally more prone to pigmentation, uneven tone and inflammation when it is under stress. Add urban pollution and an increasingly unpredictable climate, and skin fatigue is showing up earlier than ever before.
Globally, the skincare conversation is starting to change as well. There is a clear move away from quick fixes and instant glow promises toward strengthening skin in a deeper, more meaningful way.
This is where NAD+ became important to us, not as a trend, but as a genuine shift in how we think about skin health. Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide, or NAD+, is a coenzyme found in every living cell. It plays a key role in cellular energy, repair and regeneration.
Simply put, NAD+ helps our cells function better and recover faster. As we age, and as environmental stress increases, NAD+ levels in the skin naturally decline. When that happens, the skin’s ability to repair itself slows down, resilience weakens and visible ageing starts to accelerate. NAD+ has been studied extensively in the world of longevity, but its relevance in skincare feels especially timely right now.
What we love about NAD+ is that it works with the skin’s natural biology. It does not force change or override the skin’s processes. Instead, it supports what already exists within the cell. It is not about fighting ageing in a cosmetic sense, but about helping skin function at its best despite environmental challenges.
