During an exclusive interaction with India Global Forum delegates at Starlink’s Austin headquarters, Elon Musk outlined his ambitious plan to connect every corner of India through satellite technology. “During an exclusive interaction with members of India Global Forum delegation at Starlink Austin headquarters, Elon Musk shared his vision of connecting every corner of the world – including India’s remotest regions – through affordable, high-speed satellite internet,” the forum stated in a social media post.

Strategic Partnership

The Maharashtra partnership represents a significant milestone in India’s digital infrastructure development. The collaboration will provide high-speed internet access to government institutions, rural communities, and critical public infrastructure across the state, potentially transforming digital connectivity in remote areas.

Cultural Exchange and Global Ties

The India Global Forum delegation, led by Manoj Ladwa, presented Elon Musk with a ‘Ganesh Murti’ during their meeting, symbolizing the strengthening cultural and technological ties between India and global innovation leaders. The delegation is also visiting other technology giants including Tesla, Anthropic, and OpenAI as part of IGF USA 2025 initiatives.
