Next Braces for Emily in Paris Fashion Surge as New Season Nears

Next Prepares for ‘Emily in Paris’ Fashion Boom

Next anticipates a major surge in online shopping demand as the new season of Netflix’s Emily in Paris premieres in December. The fashion retailer is gearing up for fans to replicate the signature style of Lily Collins’ character.

The Netflix Effect on Fashion

The £15.4 billion retail giant confirms the ‘Netflix effect’ is driving significant global demand for television-inspired fashion. Customers from over 80 countries are already browsing Next’s website for outfits seen on screen.

Next offers its own label alongside dozens of other fashion brands, positioning itself to capture this international interest.

Fans of Emily In Paris, starring Lily Collins (pictured), are expected to flock to Next’s website to copy the character’s signature style

Financial Performance and Economic Outlook

While preparing for the fashion boom, Next will reveal its third-quarter results this Wednesday. The company forecasts full-year profits to increase by 9.3% to £1.11 billion.

However, UK sales growth shows signs of slowing. CEO Lord Wolfson has warned of potential years of ‘anaemic’ economic growth ahead, attributing the challenges to Government tax hikes.
