Vivo has added a new smartphone to its Y series lineup — the Vivo Y51 Pro. It succeeds the Vivo Y31, which launched in September last year. The smartphone has a 50-megapixel camera and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 chipset. The device carries a massive 7200 mAh battery and comes in two colours.

The Vivo Y51 Pro 5G comes with a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,250 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 processor built on a 4nm process, paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage, with support for an additional 8GB extended RAM. The smartphone runs on OriginOS 6 and includes several AI features such as AI Creation, AI Notes, AI Transcript Assist, and AI Captions, along with support for Google Gemini.
The Vivo Y51 Pro packs a 7,200mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. For photography, the phone features a 50-megapixel main camera paired with a 2-megapixel sensor capable of recording 4K video, along with AI-powered imaging tools and Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS). On the front, the device has an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
The handset also comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. It also includes dual stereo speakers with a 400 per cent volume boost, and connectivity features such as AI SuperLink for improved network stability.
Design-wise, the Vivo Y51 Pro sports a dual-camera setup on the rear, housed in a metallic module that slightly protrudes from the back panel. The camera island features two large circular rings, including an LED flash positioned alongside them.
Vivo Y51 Pro price, availability and colours
The Vivo Y51 Pro 5G is priced at Rs 24,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model costs Rs. 27,999 in India. The smartphone will go on sale starting March 11 through the official Vivo website, Flipkart, and partner retail stores. It is offered in two colour options — Festive Red and Noble Gold.
