Oppo Find N6 launching soon with 200MP Hasselblad camera, no display crease

Oppo has given the first official look at its upcoming foldable, the Find N6. The company shared a teaser, showcasing the design and colours of its new flagship device. The video also hints at a reduced crease on the inner display, something that is usually a concern for foldable smartphones.

Oppo’s Chief Product Officer, Pete Lau, claimed that the company has listened to feedback from users, and focused on two aspects – durability and cameras. He said on X that the device will come with “major breakthroughs in overall durability and crease control, not to mention big upgrades in the camera system.”

Oppo Find N6 design and crease

The teaser showcases a book-like design for the Oppo Find N6, similar to the Find N5 launched last year. The Oppo China website lists three colours – Golden Orange, Original Titanium and Deep Black.

The camera module appears to have been redesigned compared to the previous model, while retaining the Hasselblad partnership. The flash now sits on the top left of the phone, instead of being placed inside the module.

The video also showcases the Find N6 unfolded, revealing a marginal crease on the inner display.

Oppo Find N6 camera and stylus

The official teaser confirms that the Oppo Find N6 will come with a 200-megapixel main camera with Hasselblad camera. Though the rest of the camera setup remains under wraps for now.

The company has also stated that the Find N6 will come with support for a new Oppo AI Pen. This could be a unique addition for the device, since most foldable phones do not come with stylus support. For context, Samsung removed S Pen support from the Galaxy Z Fold 7 last year.

Oppo Find N6 launch and availability

The Oppo Find N6 will launch on March 17 in China. While the Oppo website labels this as a global launch, it is unclear if the device will reach other markets for now.

Oppo has not launched a foldable in India so far. Though Oppo’s sister brand OnePlus did launch the OnePlus Open in 2023, which was almost a rebadged version of the Oppo Find N3. The OnePlus Open was priced at Rs 1,39,999 in India.
