Victoria Beckham and David Beckham marked their eldest son Brooklyn Beckham’s 27th birthday with heartfelt messages on social media. The public show of affection comes amid ongoing tensions within the family following Brooklyn’s long social media post, accusing his parents, especially his mother, of sabotaging his wedding and causing anxiety.
Both David and Victoria used the same photo featuring a young Brooklyn in a pool with them, while sharing the birthday message. “Happy birthday, Brooklyn, we love you so much (sic),” the Spice World star wrote. David, on the other hand, posted, “27 Today. Happy Birthday, Bust. We love you x (sic).”

Brooklyn Beckham’s birthday has once again brought the family’s relationships into the spotlight, as previous reports indicated a growing estrangement following his wedding to Nicola.
All about the Beckham family dynamics
In February, Victoria and David’s fourth child and only daughter, Harper Beckham, posted a Valentine’s Day tribute to her brothers, writing, “Happy Valentine’s Day to the best big brothers in the whole wide world x.” She further shared a nostalgic image of the siblings together, captioned, “I love you all so much, words can’t describe it.” These messages were subsequently reshared by Victoria on her Instagram Story.
Tensions within the family escalated in January after Brooklyn spoke about his estrangement from family members on social media.
In January, Brooklyn Beckham published a six-part message on Instagram Stories, breaking his silence on family matters. He expressed frustration over his parents’ handling of private issues, accusing them of directing media narratives and attempting to damage his personal relationship, specifically his marriage to Nicola Peltz. Brooklyn’s revelations highlighted a significant familial rift, sparking widespread public interest.
“I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private,” he wrote. “Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed. I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life,” he wrote in the post.
The aspiring chef further claimed that his parents “have controlled narratives in the press about our family” for his “entire life”. He also alleged they had been “trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped”.
Victoria and David Beckham got married in July 4, 1999, in an Irish ceremony. The two are parents to four children: Brooklyn, 27, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21, and Harper, 14.
