Redmi 15C 5G India Launch Date Announced: Price, Specs & Features

Redmi 15C 5G India Launch: Key Details

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has officially announced the India launch date for its new budget 5G smartphone, the Redmi 15C 5G. The device will hit the market on December 3, 2025, succeeding the Redmi 14C 5G that launched earlier this year.

Key Takeaways

  • Launch Date: December 3, 2025
  • Starting Price: Rs 12,499
  • Key Features: 6.9-inch 120Hz display, 50MP camera, 6000mAh battery
  • Availability: Amazon and Xiaomi India online store

Expected Specifications and Features

The Redmi 15C 5G is expected to feature a large 6.9-inch LCD display with HD Plus resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it may run on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

Camera capabilities could include a single 50-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies. The device is also likely to pack a substantial 6,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, along with an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.

Storage Variants and Pricing

The smartphone is expected to be offered in three storage configurations:

  • 4GB RAM + 128GB storage: Rs 12,499
  • 6GB RAM + 128GB storage: Rs 13,999
  • 8GB RAM + 128GB storage: Rs 14,999

The device will run on Android 15-based HyperOS 2 in India and will likely be available in Midnight Black, Dusk Purple, and Mint Green color options. Unlike some markets that get both 4G and 5G variants, India will reportedly receive only the 5G version.

Sales will be conducted through Amazon and the Xiaomi India online store, making the device easily accessible to customers across the country .
