iQOO has officially launched the iQOO 15 in China, featuring a massive 7,000mAh battery, a 6.85-inch LTPO AMOLED display, and the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The phone marks a significant shift with OriginOS 6 replacing Funtouch OS on global variants and is confirmed to launch in India next month.

iQOO 15 Price and Availability

The iQOO 15 starts at 4,199 yuan (approximately ₹48,000) for the 12GB/256GB variant, with higher storage options going up to 4,999 yuan for the 16GB/1TB model. iQOO has confirmed the phone will debut in India next month, competing directly with the and Oppo Find X9 series.

Display and Performance

The device features a 6.85-inch 2K+ curved Samsung M14 8T LTPO AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certification, and Dolby Vision support. With 6,000 nits peak brightness and 2160Hz PWM dimming, it offers excellent outdoor visibility and eye comfort.

Powering the device is Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor paired with Adreno 840 GPU. The phone includes iQOO’s self-developed Q3 gaming chip for enhanced gaming performance and supports up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.

Design and Camera

Available in four color variants – Lingyun, Legendary Edition, Track Edition, and Wilderness – the iQOO 15 features a distinctive “squircle” camera module with RGB lighting that activates during games, notifications, and music playback.

The camera system includes triple 50MP sensors: a primary shooter with OIS, an ultra-wide lens, and a 3x periscope telephoto lens with OIS. For selfies, there’s a 32MP front-facing camera.

Battery and Additional Features

The massive 7,000mAh battery supports 100W wired fast charging (reduced from 120W in previous models) and 40W wireless charging. The phone runs OriginOS 6.0 based on Android 16 and includes an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.

With IP68/IP69 certification, the iQOO 15 can withstand submersion up to 1.5 meters and resist high-pressure water jets from any direction, making it one of the most durable flagship smartphones available.
