iQOO has officially announced the India launch of its flagship iQOO 15 5G smartphone on November 26. Powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, the device promises top-tier performance with significant upgrades in thermal management, camera capabilities, and premium design.

Premium Design with Gaming Aesthetics

The iQOO 15 features a refreshed design language characterized by a square camera module surrounded by a distinctive RGB light ring, giving it a gamer-focused yet premium appearance. The aluminum frame, flat display, and sharper edges further enhance its aesthetic appeal while maintaining performance-oriented design.

Performance and Display Specifications

Under the hood, the iQOO 15 combines the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, supplemented by a Q3 Supercomputing chip for stable frame rates during gaming sessions. The device runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 out of the box.

The display emerges as a standout feature with leaks suggesting a 6.85-inch Samsung M14 LTPO AMOLED panel offering 2K+ resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and exceptional peak brightness up to 6,000 nits. The phone also supports Ray Tracing technology for enhanced mobile gaming visuals.

Thermal Management and Battery

For thermal control during extended gaming, the iQOO 15 incorporates a massive 8,000 sq mm vapour chamber cooling system. Powering the device is a substantial 7,000mAh battery supporting 100W fast charging, ensuring both endurance and quick recharge capabilities.

Camera System

The imaging setup includes a triple 50MP camera array comprising main, ultra-wide, and periscope telephoto lenses, all featuring Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). A 32MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.

While iQOO hasn’t confirmed official pricing, early estimates suggest the iQOO 15 may launch in India at approximately ₹59,999. With its flagship chipset, large battery, and advanced camera system, the iQOO 15 appears well-positioned to compete in the premium performance smartphone segment.
