IndiaAI and WHO Launch Global Search for Healthcare AI Solutions

The IndiaAI Mission, in partnership with the World Health Organization, has launched a global call for abstracts showcasing scalable artificial intelligence applications in healthcare systems across developing nations.

Key Takeaways

  • Global call for AI healthcare abstracts from Global South innovators
  • Selected entries featured in comprehensive Casebook publication
  • Showcase opportunity at India-AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi
  • Deadline for abstract submissions: October 31, 2025

Casebook Development and Objectives

Jointly developed by IndiaAI and WHO, the “Casebook on AI Health Use Cases Across the Global South” will serve as a comprehensive reference for policymakers, innovators, and researchers. The publication aims to document real-world experiences and lessons to strengthen responsible AI adoption while accelerating digital healthcare transformation.

Submission Guidelines and Timeline

Researchers, innovators, and institutions from Global South countries are invited to submit 250-word abstracts showcasing successful, implementable AI healthcare use cases by October 31, 2025. Shortlisted contributors will then develop full chapters of 2,500-3,000 words detailing their AI solutions, deployment strategies, ethical considerations, and impact metrics, with a final deadline of December 15, 2025.

Global Platform for Innovation

Selected entries will not only be published in the Casebook but also showcased at the prestigious India-AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi. This provides contributors with a global platform to share insights, foster collaborations, and drive inclusive technological progress across emerging economies.

The initiative represents a significant step toward creating a comprehensive repository of impactful AI-driven healthcare initiatives that can be replicated and scaled across developing regions worldwide.
