Players will have access to new weapons like Everspring Umbrella and Hexi Blade that will help them sustain in the battle that awaits their adventure. In this article, we will have a brief discussion about the new bosses available in the 1.4 update of Where Winds Meet.

New Bosses in Where Winds Meet 1.4 update

In the latest Hexi expansion, the developers have introduced two new bosses, namely Wandering Ark and Guo Xin while they make progress in the story. Their features and attributes have been explained below:

Wandering Ark:

Players will encounter the Wandering Ark at Jade Gate Pass region. The entity is located at shifting sands and players can spot this boss once they teleport to the boundary stone located northeast of the Jade Gate pass map and get past the sandstorm.

In the game, the Wandering Ark makes an appearance as a giant ship like creature, and it starts shooting multiple arrows, once players make an attempt to get close to it. The encounter becomes difficult for the players owing to the huge size of this entity.

While facing the boss in the game, players have to make sure of two things. First of all, in phase 1, they need to target its leg support and take them down one by one, and they also have to be careful as the giant will charge straight at them. In phase 2, the boss gathers moonlight and unleashes a barrage of attacks and to avoid such attacks, gamers have to be skilled at footwork and use their Mythic Skill, cosmic reversal to turn that Moonlight against the Wandering Ark.

Guo Xin:

Guo Xin is the last grand protector of Anxi, and he wields a massive spear with tremendous physical strength. While facing this foe, players will confront the aging general phase 1, who remains at his post defending the land till the very end. He will charge at the players with his sweeping combos and some veterans to fight alongside him and players have to use the deflects wisely.

In phase 2, as sand swirls and time takes a reverse, Guo Xin’s call of army takes him back to his prime and he unleashes his power at full scale. He will also summon archers that will simultaneously attack with arrows. Players also have to keep an eye on for mo blade soldiers jumping in close combat.

In this phase, players are not just fighting a general, but they are facing an entire army that will protect the Jade Gate pass. So, it is advisable for players to stay calm, utilise their deflects, dodges and find their opening into the storm.

Therefore, the aforementioned details are the features and attributes about the new bosses introduced in Where Winds Meet 1.4 update.
