Indiana Pacers secured a close win over the Minnesota Timberwolves in their first preseason game. The Game entered overtime after Zyon Pullin equalized the score in the last minute. Before overtime, the score stood at 124 for each team. Towards the end of the overtime, the final score stood at 135-134 favoring the Pacers by just 1 point. RayJ Dennis scored the highest amongst the Pacers players. Even though the Timberwolves lost, Johnny Juzang grabbed everyone’s attention with six 3’s in today’s game.

RayJ Dennis led the Indiana Pacers to secure a win in its first preseason game. He scored 16 points with 0 rebounds and 5 assists. Pascal Siakam followed up with 14 points in the game. During the overtime, Jalen Slawson scored two 3’s, adding up to the team’s victory. After multiple dunks from both the teams, the final score stood at 135-134, favoring the Pacers.
It was a close win for the Pacers. The team took an 8-point lead in the first quarter itself. Towards the end of the first half, the difference remained intact. Both teams racked up an equal score of 28 points in the second quarter.
The Pacers added to the score difference after the third quarter. They took a lead over the Timberwolves by 13 points towards the end of the third quarter. However, the latter team managed to bring the scores to an even in the fourth quarter. Zyon Pullin pulled off an extraordinary dribble towards the end to equalize the points. The game entered overtime.
It was the first loss for the Timberwolves this preseason. Johnny Juzang, however, left a mark on the court.

After their recent loss against the Pacers, the team will now have a chance to bounce back on October 9th. The Timberwolves will be facing the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
Despite today’s loss, certain player from the Timberwolves have proved that they are here to leave a mark this upcoming season. Johnny Juzang proved his skills as a shooting guard. Now only time will tell if the player can maintain the consistency and add to the team’s future victories.
