The wedding celebrations of Arjun Tendulkar are in full swing with Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh and others bringing in cricketing royalty to the sangeet night event. Arjun and his longtime partner Saaniya Chandhok are set to tie the knot on March 5 and the celebrations commenced in Mumbai on Tuesday, following a series of pre-wedding events hosted in Jamnagar, Gujarat.
The festivities included a glamorous sangeet ceremony in Mumbai, drawing a guest list that featured leading figures from the cricketing and film communities, as well as close family associates.
The Tendulkar family was at the centre of attention during the sangeet. Sachin Tendulkar wore a beige-gold embroidered sherwani with a green kurta, while Arjun Tendulkar opted for an ivory-gold sherwani. Anjali Tendulkar was in a black-gold embroidered lehenga, and Sara Tendulkar chose a red and gold lehenga. Bride-to-be Saaniya Chandhok appeared in a beige sequinned lehenga. The family’s coordinated style and their appearance for the paparazzi became a focal point of the evening.
Notable guests included filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Anupama Chopra, and Agni Dev Chopra, as well as several prominent cricketers. Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech arrived in matching black outfits, Harbhajan Singh wore a blush-pink sherwani with Geeta Basra in a pastel lime-green lehenga.
Zaheer Khan and his wife Sagarika Ghatge attended, and BCCI chief selector Ajit Agarkar was seen with wife Fatima Ghadially. Irfan Pathan and Safa Baig, along with Yusuf Pathan and Afreen, were also present.
A special gesture came from the Mumbai Indians franchise, with whom Arjun Tendulkar was associated in the IPL before his move to Lucknow Super Giants ahead of the 2026 season. The team released a 92-second pre-wedding video featuring clips from the Jamnagar celebrations and extended warm wishes to the couple.
The Ambani family maintained a significant presence at the events. Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani personally welcomed guests at the Jamnagar pre-wedding celebrations, held in their family bungalow.
