All weapons in Resident Evil Requiem

Resident Evil Requiem has a lot of different weapons that work well for both stealth and action-heavy gameplay. During the game, players rotate between Grace Ashcroft and Leon S. Kennedy. Depending on the scenario and how far along the story is, each character gets access to different weaponry.

The game encourages players to explore every region to obtain better gear, from basic handguns and melee weapons to heavy rifles, shotguns, and additional unlocks. You can also improve several weapons by using supply boxes. This increases their damage, fire rate, and ammo capacity. Advanced tuning unlocks greater upgrade levels later in the game, which makes guns even better against tougher adversaries and bosses.

List of all weapons and locations

Starting weapons

  • Hatchet (Leon – Melee): Available by default. Used for parrying attacks and finishing enemies, but requires maintenance.

  • Alligator Snapper (Leon – Handgun): Leon’s reliable starter pistol.

Grace’s campaign weapons

  • B934 Handgun: Found in the Dining Room on the Care Center’s first floor (West Wing).

  • S&S M232 Handgun: Located in the Bar & Lounge on the second floor; Grace’s main pistol that can be recovered after losing it early.

  • Makeshift Knife / Hunting Knife: Found across multiple areas. Low durability melee options.

  • Molotov Cocktail: Found or crafted after learning the recipe in the Care Center Basement.

  • Bottle of Acid: Craftable later in the game and effective against mutated enemies.

  • R. I. P. Knife: Available on Insanity difficulty using Antique Coins.

Leon’s campaign weapons

  • MSBG 500 Shotgun: Found in the Attic before the Chunk boss fight.

  • Classic 70 Rifle: Obtained before a rooftop sniping sequence.

  • Gal Submachine Gun: Located in the East Raccoon City underground parking garage.

  • Marksman 1A Rifle: Found inside a BSAA container in East Raccoon City.

  • W870 Police Shotgun: Discovered in Gun Shop Kendo.

  • Mortal Edge (Melee Axe): Dropped by a late-game boss or unlocked via challenge points.

Supply box weapons

Players can purchase weapons like the Silencer 9 handgun, 990-TAC shotgun, and Stiri REVO3 A1 SMG using credits earned during gameplay.

Completing challenges unlocks powerful gear such as Freya’s Needle machine pistol, Kotetsu knife, Matilda IMP burst handgun, Ghost Grudge revolver, Redemption assault rifle, and the RPG-7 rocket launcher.

Resident Evil Requiem breaks record on Steam

Resident Evil Requiem has had a great start on PC, breaking the franchise’s record on Steam.

The game had more than 260,000 players at the same time shortly after it came out, which was greater than Resident Evil 4 Remake and Resident Evil 7.

The strong launch numbers highlight the game’s popularity and positive reception among fans. With availability across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2, the total player base is expected to grow further in the coming weeks.

Resident Evil Requiem is going to be one of the biggest games in the series thus yet. It includes a lot of weapons, lets you play as two characters, and had a tremendous launch.
