ISRO’s Landmark Satellite Launch

An ISRO heavylift rocket carrying the CMS-03 communication satellite—the heaviest ever launched by India into Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO)—lifted off from Sriharikota on Sunday, November 2, 2025. The space agency confirmed the satellite was successfully placed in its intended orbit.
