When we talk about Indian wedding fashion, the spotlight isn’t just reserved for the bride alone anymore. Bridesmaids and sisters are also now amplifying their game, where Sara Tendulkar just redefined the perfect bridesmaid style and gave us another inspo, which is hard to ignore.
Striking the chords between minimal and maximum aesthetics, she stood between restrained elegance and a high-impact shimmer number which felt intimate, iconic, and obviously hard to ignore. She chose to slay in a stunning number that looked like moving poetry and instantly caught our attention.

Sara’s makeup artist, Zamira, shared a series of unseen pictures from the wedding shenanigans, where the diva can be seen serving a masterclass in contemporary elegance with her bronze-gold-toned saree drape. Looking like a showstopper, she opted for this plain silk piece, which came with a neatly draped pallu featuring a subtle embroidery in brown around the border.
But what amplified the look was her avant-garde halter-neckline blouse, which carried a dense, tiered metallic beaded detailing that looked like liquid gold and caught the light most beautifully. Her whole fit looked like no less than an architectural piece, which offered a striking edge to the usual traditional saree silhouettes.

She balanced the high neckline with a ponytail with face-framing tendrils, which accentuated the unique cut of her blouse, and followed it with a soft-glam approach. With a dewy skin base, neutral lips, a simple bindi, and muted contour sides, she gave a look which felt modern and regal.
Just like that, she raised the official bar of bridesmaid dressing, making things more about precision and proving that minimalism doesn’t mean muted and maximalism doesn’t always have to be loud.
