CBSE Class 12 Geography Question Paper 2026: Check full exam paper here

The CBSE board exams 2026 are currently underway for Classes 10 and 12 across the country. The CBSE Class 12 Geography examination was conducted on February 26, and initial reactions suggest that the paper brought relief rather than stress for most students.

According to teachers across schools, the paper was predictable, balanced and closely aligned with the NCERT syllabus. The overall difficulty level ranged from easy to moderate, making it accessible for well-prepared students. Most questions were direct and followed the pattern set by the CBSE sample paper.

Educators noted that the language of the questions was simple, clear and student-friendly. There was no ambiguity, and students familiar with the textbook content found the paper manageable. The strongest takeaway from the exam was that NCERT remained the key source, with the majority of questions strictly based on prescribed chapters.

However, some sections required alertness. A few multiple-choice questions were slightly tricky and demanded in-depth reading. Source-based questions also required analytical understanding, though they were considered manageable overall.

The descriptive sections offered adequate internal choices, allowing students to plan their attempts strategically. Three-mark and five-mark questions focused on application and analytical thinking but stayed within a moderate level. Teachers observed a balanced mix of theory and practical application.

Map-based questions once again proved to be scoring and familiar, helping students secure marks confidently. Most students were able to complete the paper within the given time and even had time left for revision.

Overall, the consensus among teachers and students is that the Geography paper was fair, syllabus-oriented and well-structured.
