Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has started the registration process for Senior Executive Trainee (SET) Recruitment 2026. The online application process is currently underway. Eligible candidates can apply through the official website before March 7, 2026. The recruitment drive aims to fill 120 vacancies in Telecom and Finance streams.
Candidates with an engineering degree or professional finance qualification can apply. The selection will be based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT). BSNL vacancy details and eligibility criteria
BSNL will fill a total of 120 posts through this recruitment drive. Out of these, 95 vacancies are for the Telecom stream and 25 vacancies are for the Finance stream.
For the Telecom stream, candidates must have a full-time BE or BTech degree in relevant disciplines such as Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electrical Engineering with at least 60% marks.
For the Finance stream, candidates must be qualified Chartered Accountants (CA) or Cost and Management Accountants (CMA).
The age limit is 21 to 30 years as on the prescribed date. Age relaxation will be provided to reserved category candidates as per government rules.
Selection process and salary structure
The selection process will consist of a Computer-Based Test (CBT). The exam is tentatively scheduled for March 29, 2026. Candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for document verification.
Selected candidates will be appointed in the E-3 IDA pay scale. The pay scale ranges from Rs 24,900 to Rs 50,500.
Other allowances and benefits will be provided as per company rules. Candidates will also undergo training and probation as per BSNL norms.
