Son of Haryana BJP leader Krishna Dhull, Akansh’s achievement has been celebrated across his city and state.

He completed his schooling in Chandigarh, initially at Saint Kabir Public School and later at Bhavan Vidyalaya, before moving to Delhi for higher studies. A commerce graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), he completed his B.Com in 2025 and focused on civil services preparation soon after.

In a mock interview with Drishti IAS and Unacademy, Akansh shared his motivation: “My parents nudged me to do this, and I was good in academics, so I thought it could be a good opportunity for me to try. Being from Haryana, I have seen how civil services can impact the lives of people.”

According to an ANI video, Krishna Dhull, a prominent BJP leader in Haryana, expressed immense pride in his son’s accomplishment: “Akansh has worked incredibly hard for this. Our family is overjoyed. His dedication and focus throughout this journey are truly commendable. We always believed he had the potential to achieve great success, and today he has made us proud not just as parents, but also as citizens witnessing a young talent representing our state at the national level.”

Akansh also credits his mother, a school principal, for her constant guidance and support. This family backing, combined with his own discipline, enabled him to remain focused during the rigorous preparation process, including prelims, mains, and the personality test.

With his strong academic background, disciplined approach, and family support, Akansh Dhull is poised for a promising career in the Indian Administrative Service. His success serves as an inspiration for young aspirants across Chandigarh, Haryana, and India, proving that consistent effort and perseverance can lead to top ranks in UPSC.
