The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond benefitted slightly from the Holi holiday on Tuesday and Wednesday, wrapping up its six-day run at Rs 20.15 crore nett. According to trade website Sacnilk, the film collected nearly Rs 4 crore on Tuesday and around Rs 3.5 crore on Wednesday.
Produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and directed by Kamakhya Narayan Singh, the film hit theatres last weekend after a court battle over its censor certification. It follows the journey of three women from different parts of the country who marry Muslim men and allegedly face trauma, violence and forced conversion.

The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond opened to a negligible figure on Friday, but collections grew over the weekend. However, the film has received mixed reviews and has not performed as strongly as its predecessor, Sudipto Sen’s The Kerala Story, which was released in 2023.
The film stars Ulka Gupta, Aditi Bhatia, Aishwarya Ojha, Sumit Gahlawat and Arjan Singh Aujla in key roles. It was released in theatres on February 27, 2026.
