The second day numbers are even more promising. Advance bookings have surged.
Nearly 60,000 tickets were sold before the shows began. According to Telugu Filmibeat trade analysts expect the film to earn around Rs 1. 25 crore on Day 2. If these estimates hold then ‘Ghilli’ will collect Rs 2. 25 crore in two days from the Indian box office.
‘Ghilli’ is a remake of the Telugu blockbuster ‘Okkadu’. Vijay and Trisha’s chemistry, along with high-octane action, contributed to the original success. Prakash Raj’s stunning performance is yet another positive aspect of the movie.
