The shooting occurred on Saturday night at Central Park Resorts, a premium housing society in Sector 48. According to police, the three teenagers attend the same school near the society, and preliminary investigation indicates the shooting followed an earlier quarrel among the students.

How the Events Unfolded

The incident came to light when the victim’s mother filed a formal complaint at Sadar Police Station. She stated that the main accused repeatedly called her son, pressuring him to meet. Despite initial refusal, the victim eventually agreed and was picked up from his residence.

At the rented apartment, the victim found another friend of the accused present. The main accused then allegedly produced his father’s licensed pistol and opened fire, injuring the classmate. Police teams rushing to the scene found the injured teenager had already been transported to Medanta Hospital for emergency treatment.

Police Warning to Gun Owners

The Gurugram Police issued a strong appeal to all licensed firearm owners to securely store weapons away from children’s access. Authorities emphasized responsible gun handling to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Further updates regarding the case and the injured student’s medical condition are awaited as the investigation continues.
