Google Announces Major €5.5 Billion Investment in German Cloud Infrastructure
Alphabet’s Google will invest 5.5 billion euros (approximately $6.41 billion) in Germany over the coming years to significantly expand its cloud infrastructure and data center capacity across Europe’s largest economy.
Key Infrastructure Expansion
The massive investment plan includes establishing a new data center in Dietzenbach, located near Frankfurt, one of Europe’s major internet hubs. Google confirmed these expansion plans ahead of an official press conference held in Berlin on Tuesday.
