Reliance Retail Limited (RRL) has announced an exclusive distribution partnership with Germany’s cosnova Beauty to bring ‘essence’, Europe’s number one cosmetics brand by units sold, to the Indian market.

Nationwide Availability Through Omnichannel Network

The collaboration will introduce essence’s vibrant range of high-quality, affordable, and cruelty-free makeup products to consumers across India. The launch will be enabled by Reliance Retail’s integrated omnichannel ecosystem, making essence products accessible through online platforms, beauty stores, and partner retail formats nationwide.

Brand Philosophy and Sustainability Focus

Founded in Germany in 2002, essence is celebrated globally for its “Make Beauty Fun” philosophy, believing that makeup should be accessible to everyone. The brand updates approximately half of its product range twice annually with trend editions inspired by latest beauty and lifestyle movements.

This partnership strengthens Reliance Retail’s growing beauty portfolio and reflects its commitment to offering premium global beauty experiences to Indian consumers. As the official distributor, RRL will expand essence’s reach across premier beauty destinations throughout India.
